Would you pay $60 to watch Grammy "nominee" Marc Daniel Nelson mix a full song in real time?

They have a bundle all his 6 courses with multis. I definitely think it is worth it to tweak the tracks as you go. Get an idea of tonality of professional approach. $87 for 6

Tonality of professional approach? Really?
If an expert's genre is similar to your own, and you cannot get even close, then I can see maybe these things are OK - but let's be very honest. Even if the expert is wonderful, with wonderful gear and premises, you are NOT there, monitoring on far less good systems, through a compromised delivery process - AND, and this is critical, it is one-way. Real, effective education requires two way. "hang, on, what did you just do, what is that noise, how did that happen?" All those possibilities are missing. Fader prods in a multitrack can be invisible unless you are there. 2dB is usually invisible - but in the room, you can see how and when it changes - youtube and any video format cloud this.

I have always followed Alan Parsons, but watching videos does not show me how he does things. The words can be the most help, never in my experience, the audio. Some people will learn something, but it depends on what the thing you pay for actually does?

I only mix on headphones for many years. I am used to that way of working with good results. I think working with multitracks and doing a mix yourself and then going through it watching is useful. Again ymmv

Well would ya punk? How about for $57.

So I guess in this pay for it and learn video..Marc goes through the whole process of him mixing a full song with plugins..

Guy needs to make money - probably for a rookie starting out this might be useful - but mixing decisions are program dependent - so generally it won’t help many.

You think Warren Huart and Rick Beato would have youtube channels if they were busy producing? I don’t think so.
Exactly. 😉 Those YT channels are usually pretty full-time jobs, especially at their level.

There is a guy flogging his piano playing courses hard on youtube ads, they get slagged off badly for taking money of beginners. I mentioned alan parsons, but he does recording courses that while they're full of tips, dont really explain how it works. He says “I do xyz, like this” but unless you are in his room, with his gear, what us mere mortals get will never be the same as he gets.
