I've got some fruity samples in fruity loops. I've downloaded various mp3s of various samples offered by various companies. Even the best ones have reverb on what I've sniffing out right now - strings. It's the reverb I'm wondering about.
1 Doesn't anybody do dry string samples?
2 Wouldn't it make more sense to sell dry samples, and let the user decide how much verb to put on?
3 I've been doing my vocals and acoustic guitar dry up till now. If I use these wet string samples, there's no way I can undo the verb, so I'm gonna have to put reverb on the vocal and guitar so everything sounds right together, right?
What's that thing that Winnie the Pooh says when he's pissed off? Oh yeah... bother.
