My guy called me this evening and said his wife was thrilled with it.
ON A KARMA-LIKE NOTE- I took the big box of ice cream cones that he gave me to work today to share and guess what? Our A/C crapped out at around noon time. I got to go around and offer cones to everyone that was sweltering. Sometimes karma ain't a bitch.

I just bought an old parlor guitar today...the design on the front places it in the mid 1920's made by regal in Chicago...I dont think that I can find any catgut to string it up with though.

Id buy one of those baby taylors...and trade him straight up...parlay that into a cool sum of money.

Hey, if you tell him that the old guitar is worth more money, but the baby Taylor will be easier for his wife to play (assuming that is true), then leave it up to him, then your Karma would be okay if he takes the trade.
