Listened to the last instrumental version....

Would like to hear the keyboards on the last verse. The hi hat is too busy but you said you would redo the drums so that will help. The guitar riff sounds a lot like the original (except for the tail end bit :) ) - the tone is perfect. I would up the keyboards volume a bit as well.
Looking forward to the final version with the vocals.....
 
Okay, Danny, here is a quick and dirty mix with all the vocals. WT - DG&DB

You may hear that the vocal tracks need EQ. Since you said you want practice mixing vocal tracks, I'll leave that for you to do. I did add a little compression, however.

This should be good practice for me with mixing the vocals.

I'm gonna redo some of the lead guitar and the drums, so it may be a day or two before I have a new mix, but I'll post back here when it's done.
 
You kept the triplet hats!!! Damn you! :D

Man this is awesome!!! Lovely job on the vocals guys, nice, very spacious mix. Great fills towards the end. Nice compression on that electric too. Awesome.

Yea I kind of got used to them, and kind of like them that way. :D

I'll still probably change them, but I just want to see if I got the vocals mixed in there good first, since this is my first time trying to mix vocals.

I had to apply a little EQ to them because some parts were a little 'boomy' and I tried to not take too much away from the vocals with the EQ.

Sounds good Danny. Just one thing... does the bass play the last note of the song? I can't hear it if it does.

Someone mentioned something about the hihat. I agree it was kind of ouroomed and distracting.
The sound of your solo guitar is WOUUUUUUU.
Keep posting (give us your original songs)

Dan - I forgot to add the bass part back in there at the end (like I had in the original). :(

I'll have to do that because I like how it sounded in the original (short) version.
