I have all these options when recording a line in source on the recording software and more except WAV? I thought WAV was the ideal format to use to burn to CD?

Well, well, the important thing is that you use a lossless format, ie not MP3 or WMA. The problem you might get with PCM is that it may not be supported by the CD-burner software. If it is, it's really not a problem.
