Have you seen Brutal Beats? It's a loop disk with some VERY thinly disguised Zep beats. Also severely tortured after the fact. The playing is more Bonzo than the sound, but **I** like it.

Man, I played the demo and it sounds just like Bonham...

...hmmm...would these work on my VS2480 or would I need to get a PC into the act?...everyone is telling me it's easier to edit on the 'puter so I guess I'm being inexorably drawn to the software end of things...

They're wavs, so technically they could work. Dunno if the 2480 has much loop support though, or a tempo shift utility...

They sell cheapass versions of Acid (there's even a free one) - I picked up Acid DJ at Banjo Mart for my daughter for $3 (three dollars) a couple weeks ago. You could build your tracks there, then port em into your 2480...
