Hello,

I am new to this board. But I think I might stick around here for a while. Anyways...

I found one of these today, http://cgi.ebay.com/8-Channel-Combo...ultDomain_0&hash=item2ead8d7635#ht_3266wt_913

I need the first to channels to do phantom power. The other 6 need to be balanced. Would I need different wire to accomplish this? Basically on the first two channels I would have male mic plugs and the other 6 would be TRS balanced plugs.

Its just the wire I am concered about.

Thanks in advance.

Use the same wire for both...2-conductor with a braided shield...aka - microphone cable (Canare, Mogami, Belden....etc)

OK. That sounds great. I cant wait to solder this baby up! Clean of course.

side note...
Miroslav, as in the bassist from early Weather Report?
