The SKM 5200 is not a microphone - it's just a hand-held transmitter body that the user can choose what microphone head to screw onto it (though Sennheiser mostly only picture it with the Neumann head).

If you buy one, you have to order 3 items: 1) the SKM 5200 body, 2) your choice of microphone head, 3) your choice of battery compartment (for holding dry-cell batteries or an accupack).

So - to answer your question asking if there is a wired version, we would need to know what microphone head you are wanting in a wired version

However - a large number of users do like the Neumann head:-

So - if you want this, then the Neumann KMS 104 (cardioid) or KMS 105 (super-cardioid) would be the wired version (both mics available in either satin nickel or black).

If you want a Sennheiser head, I think the only one available as a wired mic. is the e965



This is switchable cardioid / super-cardioid.
