WIP- need outside ears

ok...so i'm working on this song and i dont know if im having trouble with the last verse or if my ears are just dead for right now.

Can I please get some opinions on the mixing/effects on the vocals in the last verse? I want it to sound like it sort of opens up or becomes clear at that point. Listening now on another set of speakers, maybe it's the proximity effect that I hear. I originally had some horrible yelling instead so I think that's why it sounds odd to me...

It sounds strange with the bassdrum sound having more high frequencies than the vocals. I would try some EQ'ing on the tracks.
 
i ended up figuring a lot of stuff out...the bass drum level was waaay high. but besides that, i just had to figure out how i wanted to last vocal verse to sound and i was able to do it after giving my ears a break.
 
I just heard the song. Is this the version after you "fixed" the last verse?
I ask this because it doesn't sound too different than the other verse, but less reverb and stereo.

ah, no i havent fixed the one posted. i'll post sometime when it's all done.
