Please help me log drivers for my fireface 400 onto Windows 7. I've been to the website to follow their meager directions to no avail.

I am not familiar with what driver the Fireface uses but here is something you may want to check into.

Many folks are rudely learning that Windows 7 doesn't seem to like ASIO drivers. (ASIO is a type of software that tells Windows how to make some third-party audio hardware function correctly.) As a result many sound cards and recording programs don't work well with Windows 7 just yet. However, there is a utility that may serve as a work-around.

Microsoft themselves have released a utility download that allows Windows 7 to behave exactly like Windows XP used to. It is called "Windows XP Mode" or XPM for short. It requires Windows Virtual PC to be installed first. Both are free downloads from the Microsoft website.

I have not tried it myself yet because my recording rig is still using XP. I only read about it. Give it a try and let us know if it works for you.

While I have not used the Fireface, I have run a Presonus Audiobox on XP Mode on Windows 7 just fine. Make sure you allow it to use enough RAM and close any background programs, though.
