Is there Win2000 drivers for it?

It they exist, you should have no problem using them with PA9, but remember it's a Creative card. Nothing is guaranteed. ;)

A search here don't show any AWE64-drivers for Windows 2000, but maybe you could use the NT4-drivers.

And perhaps the kX-project-drivers will work.

I don't think PA9 is the problem... or is it?

I would not recommend that as that is one of the major differences between NT4 and 2000 - its multimedia capabilities as well as driver differences.

KX drivers were specifically written for Creative cards based on the E-MU chip used with the Live series cards and my guess would be that they will not work with previous cards.

Ah... a look in the FAQ on the site confirms this. Oh well... it was worth a shot.

And I used NT-drivers for my old network-card. But there's a huge difference between an audiocard and a network card. But it could work.

The AWE64 definitely works under Win2K - I have that very combination in the PC on which I am typing this. I checked in Device Manager and the driver version says 5.0.2184.1, if that's any help.

I don't know about PA9 but, given that the soundcard/OS combo works, I can't see why there should be a problem.
