Current set up (plus routing)

Guitar > Pod > Delta 44 Break out box (In) > Mac G3 > Cubase > Delta 44 Break out box (out) > to Monitors.

My question is to find out if I can externally EQ the sound after it been recorded ?

For example;
Cubase playing back a recording > Delta 44 Break out box (out) > to external Eq > Delta 44 Break out box (In) > Cubase > Delta 44 Break out box (out) > to Monitors.

Ummmm, does that make sense?
If I try this, will it cause a mass explosion?

It works, you have be careful about latency but that is how most people use outboard effects.

Personally, I keep it all in the DAW and do not try outboard effects.
