why wont my cool edit load cda's?

my cool edit will load and auto play mp3s etc. for some reason it wont load or auto play cda's. ive never had this problem in the past.

any suggestions?

When you install CEP you are given a list of file types you want to be opened by it. If I remember .cda is unchecked by default, but you should be able to go to Options to allow it.
