Lets hear all your Behringer woes in one big thread. Here's mine....

I had to return my V-Amp Pro 3 times before I got one that didn't cut out or lose its memory or just stop powering up all together.

I also A/B'd their TRUTH monitors when I bought my Wharfedale 8.2As and they sounded like ass, I've also read countless times on here about the tweeters frying prematurely.

Anyone else?

I've bought a behringer Vamp2 and a behringer Vtone 210 amp. The amp lost it's memory once for the effects settings on each channel. But I reset it all back to the factory presets and then tried again and it's been fine ever since. The Vamp2 i've had no problems with. So right now i'm very happy with behringer and can't beleive what a good deal it is.
 
Gad, I hate to say it, but I'm not having any problems with my Berry gear either...I have a Bass V-Amp Pro (damm! Almost 3 years now), a patchbay (only wish I had bought the balanced version), a B-1, and a Composer MDX2600...The only problem I've had with any of the gear is that channel 1 in the compressor doesn't like being bypassed when used as an insert...

Wish I could whine with ya, but... :(

I am yet to have a problem with Behringer gear. I only have 2 items: the B1 mic and the BCR2000. Both have served me well.
 
All the Behringer gear I have ever bought and used has worked flawlessly. I did buy one used AutoCome compressor that had a output jack that needed to be resoldered. Otherwise, it has all worked!

I worked for a sound company that bought a whole mess of Composer Pros, and all of those worked, and have worked flawlessly for many years now.

I remember this huge festival I was at, the sound system was Carlson Sound out of Seattle. Guess what? ALL Behringers dynamic processors in the FOH racks, and being used HARD. Sounded great! :D

One very happy Behringer customer here.

I find if you buy there lower end gear your screwed. High end stuff on the other hand works great, but if you are out to make money at doing live sound systems or what not just stay away from behringer.

I've owned several pieces of Behringer gear and it all worked just like it was supposed to.

As long as you don't have any problems they're fine ... I think everyone agrees on that. My brother has one of their guitar amps - on the day we bought it one of the knobs broke off. We walked straight back into the shop, they rang Behringer and told us that they don't carry spares and that they'll tool up to make the amps again in 18 months, and that they'll honour our warranty then. So naturally I stole some spare knobs off another one in the shop! :eek:

I remember bitching about Behringer preamps on here ages ago, and HR member Wilkee was so amused by it that he sent me, free of charge, an MIC2200 to try out. Apart from one broken LED that's jammed on, it's a really good piece of kit actually ... a kind of Swiss Army Knife for getting me out of a hole when I'm out of DIs, pres or even need some quite narrow EQ for feedback suppression. Still works fine, and I will admit to anyone that I think their gear looks cool :)

Other than that, DI100s, PMX2000, UB1204, 15" PA cabs ... all without any problems. I still don't like them though!!! :eek:
 
I've got a v-amp pro and it is the best preamp I've ever had, and I've had some nice ones.

All you happy Behringer custumers get out!! This is a biast thread,so no good experiances.

I for one never bought the Behringer stuff,and not planning because i get upset easily when gear i just bought gives me problems..no matter how much i paid.

my virtualizer makes nothing but feedback now........
 
I've had a berry ub802 or something like that mixer and a ada8000...
They worked fine while I had them but, I sold them off before anything could go wrong.

WTF...Behringer doesnt even make high end gear. :rolleyes: Is there a new Boutique Behringer line?? Wonder whos schematics they stole for that one? :D

I own one behringer item...a guitar amp that I use to practice with on the road.

its a POS, and I dont mind using it because if I lose it, i have an excuse to buy a real amp///got it for 40euros at a German flea market.

Behringer is the Sams Choice of The Audio World. It works ok in a pinch, doesnt taste quite like the real thing, and goes bad faster.
