so I bought this nice mixer(analog) with 16 mic pre's
so I can really mic up a drum set.But my ultimate goal is to
record into the 24/96 world. Why would I want to return
that recorded 24/96 signal back to the analog mixer for effects, reverb, compression, or whatever. Wont my recordings start going to crap and defeat the purpuse of getting all that expensive 24/96 gear. Im confused. And what If I dont even do that and I add effects, compression, etc.
with some nice gear right out of the recorder. Wont the same thing happen. Running out of aspirin!! Mike
