Farview Well-known member Jul 28, 2014 #2 How far did you move the note? You can only move it so far up or down before it starts sounding like mickeyouse or darth vader. If you didnt move it that much, check out the formant controls. You might be telling the program to turn it into a woman.

Tadpui Well-known member Jul 28, 2014 #3 Also check the sample rate of your original file versus the sample rate that Melodyne is working in. If there's a mismatch and you load a file with a different sample rate into your project, you can get the Mickey Mouse or Darth Vader thing as well.
