Does anyone want to put in their two cents as to what drove you to click the link for "analog only" , like when you are really into it.

I don't completely understand your question but, if I was to take a stab at it, I might say that because all of my recordings and production work is done in the analog realm, that might excuse my curiosity!

Cheers! :)

Looks you are asking yourself a question out loud. Well...so don't keep us in suspense. Why did you push the analog button?

;)

I only did so because I am a scatology freak and I thought an anal log was a turd.

We don't doubt that Derek.

Myself, I started pushing it a couple of years ago, after I gave computer recording a try, and gave it up and bought and 8-track r2r. :)

Good. That is the same reason I pushed the button. Because I gave digital recording a try, and gave it up to buy an analog reel to reel 8 track. Then I wanted to see if anyone else felt the same way I did about analog and see what I could learn.

I must be disqualified then because I never went to digital and then back to analog.

I always dreamed of having a 16 track reel to reel and a big board to mix on and I saved my shekels for years to get it.

Now that I do have it and am happy with the results I get, why would I want to tempt fate, dump all my expensive goodies and go mix with a mouse and a bunch of drop down menus to turn up the treble on a guitar?

Luddites, indeed. :p :D :)

Cheers! :)
