Who Wants to become a moderator ?

I'd like to moderate any of the following three-- the mic forum, the rack forum or the guitar/bass forum.

It’s almost as if they want a few forum members to do all the shitty, boring jobs for nothing while they sit back and soak up the advertising revenue! :D

“The community” doesn’t need moderators, you guys need a few people to do the shitty admin stuff you don’t want to do and you want them to do it for free.

I wouldn't want to be a member of a BBS that allowed me to be a moderator.
 
Well sirs, I would like to offer my expertise of moderation also!!

I can assure you, that I too, have vast experience in verbal fisticuffs...although, I must admit, they are not always one and the same...verbal can come before, during or after the cuffing and the Fisti's are always optional....:eek:

first of all, thanks to all people wishing to become moderators, we are studying every request carefully, and will be getting in touch with everyone by the beginning of next week!

Just want to make something clear: Choosing moderators among the community is for us a good way to avoid any commercial pressure from any potential advertisers, as moderators are just members of the community, not of the company. Believe me, it works just fine :D

It is painfully obvious that I have misjudged you. Your refined language makes evident your intellect and breeding. What was not clear, until now, was the frail vulnerability that I have so callously exploited.

While at first I may have been offended by the presumptious manner in which you (ahem, a "newb" as the common folk call them) deemed yourself capable of moderating us, I have had a change of heart. For surely your wisdom can not be measured by mere post count!

Smacks of DJL. I'm generally opposed to any moderator being chosen from an anonymous source pool, where we don't know the name of the moderator or any credentials. Plus, this is somebody that just signed up this month, and he's immediately asking to be made a moderator?

Gimmeabreak!

Shouldn't people applying for moderator positions include which forum they feel capable of moderating?
