Rock Steady
I got the waves native powerpack. It`s very different from the stuff I`ve been using but the presets seems to have been done extrmely well, although I`m quite unfamiliar with some of them for now.

I am. I am. Wha'choo need?

My can't live withouts -
For mastering:
L2, C4

For tracking:
Truverb, REQ4, RCL, C1, Q4

I suspect I would also include the RVerb, but it is such a resource hog, I end up not using it - even though I would like to at times.

I tried the c1 on a couple of tracks, it does a great job on the presets. I still keep one foot wrapped around my Timeworks compressor though till I`m weaned. I haven`t swam too far from shore on the Trueverb yet, I'm still playing with the buttons, but it seems to be less of a cpu hog than the anwida.

The RCL is fantastic on vocals. Play with the Opto settings.

I`ll try the rcl. I`ve never seen so many nice toys before.. :)
THe ultramax is cool but Im hearing some kinda slight phase plange type thing going on in the highs. Whats that?

If found it. It was a chorus I had put on a piano, the high freq`s had been masked until i put the ultramax on it, they came back out clean.

What's the Ultramax? You mean the L1?

I absolutely loved that plug-in...... until I got ahold of the L2.

IMHO, you should only use it in a Mastering situation on a stereo mix. Don't know that it would serve any purpose other than that. I find it amazingly transparent, given what it can do.

Don't know about any phasing. Try maybe playing with the dithering choices. Could that be what you're hearing?

I`m just playing with them now, but I understand what you mean about mastering the 2track. I wanted to see what it does sonically. I'll play around with the L1 and see whats up with it.
Damn, all this fun I could be having and I have to be at work........:(
