For example, our son is a budding writer and a drama junkie, so we are planning to add audio theater to our studio's operations.

I suppose, but it's not like being at a karaoke bar or anything like that... there's no video involved... it's much more like tracking vocals...johnnymegabyte said:hummm, karaoke host ?
Hmmm, since I know nothing about karaoke files, I don't know that I can help much. But if the files have both an audio and video component, why couldn't you use some basic video editor to assemble the songs (with video) and create the DVD from there?johnnymegabyte said:I use vanbasco midi/karaoke player on pc with soundblaster.
I would like to record some songs ( audio and video ) of the KAR files, save them on HD, and burn in VCD format, to playback on a DVD. No singing in this step.
This would be a lot easier than transporting a PC, etc to family and friends.
Basically, put the CD in DVD player and sing along.
Any ideas of what software to capture the screen and audio (WYSIWYG) to a video format ? I'm kind of thinking, there should be no extra hardware, just a specific program. Know of any ?

LOL! Foley, of course, is the fine art of making corn starch in a bag sound like someone walking in the snow.VTgreen81 said:I don't even know who Foley is.
I would LOVE to hear that. Hell, I'd even pay!Be Loveless said:...an AM radio parody including an old 1940's style adventure serial.
