I seriously can't believe someone submitted the guitarists from Korn for a "who's better" contest....

Mike is "ok", but geez... he doesn't belong in a "who the best" poll...

(hell, the Korn guys don't even belong in a "guitar" poll of any kind,... seeing how they barely qualify as guitarists. :p)

yeah, and you kind of remind me of the person that thinks he's king shit of music and knows everything about it. Who cares what the poll says, if it bothers you, don't reply.
Didn't I say 12-year-olds??? ...I guess certain 16-year-olds are just more immature than others.....

dweeb.......

Nobody said "he's the best." This poll was started becaues I wanted to prove to someone that mike has more talent than head or munky.

Who do you think is better -- Little Jimmy who plays the kazoo, or Keisha with her recorder??

That's pretty much the same type of question..........

You're about just as much of a kid as the other kid....

Only good thing is, school's back in soon -- hopefully, the nonsense will diminish a bit........

Out of your chises listed above I would say Mike because he can play but the question is who has more talent I would say a toss up between three Guitarist Satch, Vai, and the infamous Criss Olivia of Savatage (my personal Idol)....but to answer your post I would go with Mike

I think the original question was "who has more talent between mike and the guitarists from korn." Not just "who has more talent." I am a huge incubus fan, but even then I know that there are many more artists who are much better than mikey or the guys from korn. This is just between incubus and korn.

Of course I'm biased here because I enjoy incubus so much, but I think Mike is much better than the guys from Korn. I think someone said earlier in this post, listen to the early incubus stuff. Alot of it does sound like ripoff music from earlier bands like Faith No More and Mr. Bungle, but I think it's still good stuff. And Mikey definately can shred when he wants to, but that's not to say that he's the best at anything. Actually, they were on Howard Stern once, and they covered Immigrant Song. Mike did a pretty badass solo in that song.

Also, I think alot of people on this board dislike the whole "rap/metal" genre, so they immediately say that both bands suck without really taking a listen to the songs other than the singles. I personally don't like that genre much either, but there are some exceptions. So I don't know, maybe just take a listen before you decide how you feel about them.

Blue Bear - I'm 18 and I'm still "just a kid." We all know you're older than us kids and have more experience up your sleeves, but I don't think comments like "Grow-the-fuck-up" will help any kid learn any better. It's pretty much just asking for more retaliation from the kid, especially since its so much more easier to do that because we're just behind some user names on a bbs. I mean, all the adults on this board have to admit they were once adolescents who had the "I'm invincible" mentality at one point. Heh, now I fearfully await the reply. :D

Good Piont RedHeffer I dislike neu Metal and stuff like that but I do respect their tallent and I think that they have unique ideas and people can relate to it I dislike the fact that adult's can't actually see that by saying negitive things can affect how a person feels and could result in them giving up a great thing

know what... sometimes when people know too much about something they become arrogant.... and im sure blue bear is one of them... after all wouldn't u have a touch of i know it all if u were a musician, & a professional recording engineer? maybe a little. Would I? Just probably... but it saddens me when a grown man resorts to such a childish way of acting... and who wouldn't agree with me on that? Moreover it saddens me even more when a musician misses the point of what music is...

well guys, I`m older than older than the bluebear and I like a lot of stuff. I dislike a lot of stuff as well. But that doesn`t have a damn thing to do with how much talent the one like or I don`t like has. I found over time that what we hear from an artist never really reflects the volume of talent they have, only reflects a segment of what they may have chosen to reveal and we respond according to familiarity and whether we are stroked byemotional connections to the piece.
I feel, and I feel that there are others that feel the same way, that a judgement as to who has the most "talent" is simply a piss in the wind as far as any reasonable logic is concerned. A logical comparison between stylists following a protocal would be more realistic.
i.e.. "Mikes rythym seems more defined than Bubba`s to me"
or "Jimmy bends his strings further up at the 17th fret more than Eric does and I like it better".
Not "Mike aint as talented as Bubba, or Jimmy can`t fit the bill against Eric."
I like Steve Morse and Larry Carlton better than I do Steve Lukather and that guitar player from Korn, but who walking this earth could possibly know the top-out-end of their talent? Nobody

If we fogies piss you off it surely isnt intended, it`s just...guess what? we been there too, and are past it and only hope to leave some shortcuts to wisdom when we can. Sometimes it just dont pan out, but thats they way of the world...jus keep Rockin!!! its all good! :)

You know alot us are poking fun, me included, but it's mostly directed toward the korn dudes.
This is a cool post and fun to keep up with.
There sure is enough people chiming in.
But I'm still voting for Hendrix...ggg..gg.hee.hee

All three suck, but Mike sucks a little less than the Korn dudes.
