This is for composing songs

please advice which is the best option

1)a portable yamaha keyboard +desktop pc +softwares

2)a yamaha /Roland synthesizer (like MOX or MOTIF )

3)a yamaha Arranger Workstations like PSR-S550B

What is it you want to do besides compose? What type of music? Are you loking to make demo recordings, or full-blown songs?
You don't have to pay for a DAW (recording software) to start with - Audacity and Reaper are free to download and try out.

my teacher told me that workstation is the one for making a full song .. he used for making songs in his studio

..also I know that there are so many pc softwares for making a song ..

I have an old yamaha psr 340 portable keyboard . planning to sell it soon .

I have 3 options

1)my old yamaha psr340 +desktop pc +softwares

2)a yamaha /Roland synthesizer (like MOX or MOTIF )

3)a yamaha Arranger Workstations like PSR-S550B

also I don't know the difference between arranger workstation and synthesizer workstation ?

please advice me the better option ?
