Which preamp is better?

Well, I'm a staunch opponent of Behringer products. I guess if you need one really bad for really cheap and don't care for quality, either would work. People 'round here promote Rane and M-Audio as an alternative. Do a search. You'll get loads of info on the cheaper alts.

Are you being serious??? The Beri MIC800 is a far superior preamp than the piece of shit MIC200. Don't listen to these other guys, beri stuff is exquisite! All of the major studios use the stuff. Its like crack!

The Mic200 is a better long term investment because it costs less and puts less Behringer in your rack:D

i think thats a pretty good reason

Just get the M-Audio Audio Buddy. You won't be sorry with that.

The only things Behringer I'll ever own are the ada8000 which I never use anyway and the 8 channel headphone amp. Behringer's are noisy pre's and I would prefer never having them on a recording.

Neither preamp is any good.... see posts above.
Search this forum, and you'll find much better alternatives.

The Symetrix, M-Audio and Rane products (especially used) represent far greater qualiy and value...

Ok, so I was wrong. Basically though, my point was that the less Behringer you ahve the better;)

What is tube modeling?
It's the artificial simulation of a tube sound. It too, is crap....

In you price range, just get one of the preamps mentioned favorably in this thread. You're welcome.

So you think that MIC200 and Studio Projects B1 isn`t good combination? :o

You're kind of pissing me off...
You came to this forum asking for advice....

Many people took time out of their day (or night) to share their knowledge and experience with you....

And you just keep going back to what you wanted the first place anyway!!! (Behringer)

Why ask for advice if your mind is already made up??

Go buy your Behringer crap that you seem hell bent on. I'm sure you'll be very happy with it.

I made several good suggestions, and not once...... did you even thank anyone here who tried to help you.
