which mic should I use thru amp?

I was wondering if someone could recommend a good sounding mic for vocals to be run thru a Fender Acoustisonic Jr. guitar amp. Looking for decent sound without huge expense.

Is this for recording the vocs or a live situation?

If its for recording,...you dont need to amp the vocs. Actually in either case,...going thru a guitar amp isnt the best way to go at all.

On the other hand,...the 57 makes a great guitar amp mic,....the 58 makes a good vocal mic,...hmmmmmn do they make a 57 1/2?
ha ha ha ha.
