hi,
i was checking out the Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue 40W 1x12' Combo Amp and the Fender® Hot Rod Deluxe. Whats the main difference between the two? their specs are pretty similar. I play more Blues Rock suff and some Classic Rock. Which amp would better suit my needs? im thinking of getting a
Gibson Les Paul Vintage Mahogany to match it. what do u guys think? ?

The Blues Deluxe Reverb to me is much more clear than any of the hot rod amps. Though I do enjoy the hot rod series very much. The best description I can give is this:

The overdrive on the hot rod sounds like it has a blanket over it.
The overdrive on the blues reverb sounds like the blanket has been lifted.

If you play them side by side, you will hear a CLEAR difference in overdrive. They sell both of these amps at guitar center. Try them both out. I highly recommend the Blues Deluxe over the hot rod but it's your choice and you know best.

Good luck!

The only way YOU can find out which is better is to play them both.
Our opinions wont do anything for your ears as far as what YOU like.
Find a Fender retailer and take your guitar and pedals with you and figure it out.

Let us know what you think.

A guy who plays in our band if we need an extra (2) guitar has one and when gigging with us borrows one of my "The Twin" series, he finds the Hot Rod limiting in that it starts to breakup around "2" and if he wants a clean sound he's out of luck.
