which interface?

Oh I see I think, well I'll get a better understanding of those when I come to it but thanks a lot for your help :) and although once I've finished the song I'm working on (finally finished exams today so I can get on with it!) then the next project will be to record a song in my band but I'll be doing it one person at a time, so number of headphones outputs wont be a problem. and when I say one person at a time I mean that they will be the only other person with me, I am NEVER letting my band members roam freely around my house! haha
 
LE stands for light edition. If you want a stripped version of a good program, this will work. Have you considered Propellerhead? Record/Reason works well live and multi-mix for me. Love the ACTUAL interface (pressing tab puts you behind the rack and you can change routing just like a real rack).
