where to start?

my band would like to start using original samples in our music and be able to play them live too. I dont know where to start as this is something new to us. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it. thanks

What kind of samples do you mean? Sound FX...sweeps, pads, kips, hiqs, ect. Or do you mean vioce clips. Also what is your musical style?

mostly voice clips or sounds that we make. we play indie/emo/alternative/rock...whatever it's called this week.

and drum samples too, made with a drum machine.
