where to master??

we don't need rest!!
so...where can someone go to have their stuff mastered at a *reasonable* price, and not "take a chance"? Any recommended places people have dealt with in Nashville...?...I'm only two hours away. Some personal experiences would be nice to hear about.
Mailing a DAT/CDr and a check, without some sort of pre-listening/advice/suggestions would not be a preferred route. Places like the old Masterfonics and such are too booked and have no available time...plus, a bit overkill for this project...but would be nice!! suggestions??
 
what about one of the guys from the BBS....sonusman, sjoko2,.....

Some of the people around here will at least care enough to give a great effort.

Ed, a personal email has been sent...thxs!!

I had sent a CDr to Sjoko back in July, with the offer of a free listen/evaluation, in response to his previous "facility opening" offer. I have not heard from him whether he has listened to the tracks as of yet.
 
no worries, Sjoko. I kinda figured that out when I never got any responses to my emails. Save a buck and forget mailing the CD back....or better yet..put it towards payment for services....I figure we ought to be about even then... :-)
 
I'm sorry, but....... Your music has been well recorded, well mixed, very smooth, but I just cannot stomick it :)
