Besides online what type of stores can you get replacement tubes for your amp. Im thinking of replacing the stock tubes in my Blues Jr. Do they sell them at music stores like Guitar Center?

Thanks.

Yes, they do. I tend to get mine from www.eurotubes.com because the guy that runs it knows what he is talking about. That doesn't happen much at guitar center.

Another vote for Eurotubes :) Good guy, knowledgeable, decent prices...

Another vote for Bob at Eurotubes here. He has some of the best prices around, he's a great guy to deal with, and he matches the tubes well.

I remember going into our local guitar center and asking for amps using EL84 tubes. The guy replied "tube amps? Right over here." "No, no, amps with EL84 tubes." (blank stare...) "Let me hand you over to Billy, he knows tubes." Billy didn't know tubes. But both of them knew all the whizbang features on the latest Line 6's and why I wanted to buy them...great reason to stay away from GC when you're dealing with tubes. That and they'll charge you $15.00 for a Mesa branded Sovtek 12ax7.

Torres Engineering

Torres is the real deal. I have bought from them and their products are as advertised. I installed a Tone Kit in my 82 Carvin amp that brought it to life, and a friend & I put his cap kit in a Super Reverb that made it sing. He knows a lot about tubes.

Uno mas...

Bob is the MAN! I told him what amp I had, what guitars I used, what effects, my playing style, and the type of sound I had. He immediately had a suggestion for what tubes to try, even down to the grade number. I had them a few days later, and they were EXACTLY what I needed.
