Where do I get samples/audioclips for free?

I need the sound of an army marching. I´m asked to produce a "soundtrack" or an audiobackground for an vernissage and a specific piece of art.

I´m used to produce music at the computer but I have not needed any audiosamples except beats/rythm before. Are there any good sites with free downloads? And yes, I have googled myself without results good enough for this one. Specific sites please Thank you!!!

Google is your friend! I don't know what the quality is of the clips you might find after some rummaging, or what the licensing will be - most likely open to the public.

Or, you can get a nice omni mic, 100 of your closest friends, and have them march past the front of your house.
