What do you mean, the kind of guitar jimi played or one he actually played? I imagine a vintage owned jimi hendrix guitar would be many thousands of dollars as well as left-handed.

i don't know about anyone else, but if i had an original guitar played by hendrix, i either wouldn't dare touch it, so wouldn't mind it being left handed... or happily learn to play guitar left handed

You have to pay to get in, but after that, just take out your glass cutter when you see a guitar you like, and remove it from the exhibit.

I have a record (LP type) with Jimi playing a standard white strat. upside down, I was under the impression he always used a regular strat upside down because he had got used to it.

Naw - I think they ran from '96-'99 or something along those lines. Its kinda a crock anyway - they just turned a left handed standard strat upside down and sold it for $1500. I know there were some upgraded features and all the reviews seem great, but how much of that is hype?
Maybe one could be found on ebay if you gotta have it.

Anyway- I would just buy a strat. They sound good. Get a white one if you're feeling saucy. Flip it upside down if your super saucy.
