i'd like to buy a few new knobs or buttons for one of my compressors,
you know the things you touch and turn to change the sound :)

i got an old compressor with a few missing ones and would like to get me some nice 'design' things, just for the looks

but whats the correct name for these things and where can i buy them?

thanks!

J

guitar knobs may work, but i guess it all comes down to the size type of the pot shaft.

Knobs is right or maybe dials. Das musikding has a fairly limited range but there are some nice ones in there.

Clicky

Most shafts are 6mm hence most knobs have a 6mm hole but it's worth checking they'll fit before you buy.

I'm searching for some original pultc eq knobs for a clone I'm building and they're tricky to find and pricey when you do find them.

I like the alcoswitch PKES knobs but it depends on what look you're going for.

awesome,
its for an old DOD compressor that i hardly use and want to sell,
will look better with new knobs,,,hehe

and maybe i'll replace the uglyplastic buttons on my symetrix 501's

then i got a tuned studio

hihi

i found some old knobs from my first mixer, didnt fit cause the symetrix his pots are "half moon" shaped, or U-form

and i don't know what the ones on the websites look like on the inside..
i'd like to see them before i buy them, cause i'll be spending a fortune of course :D

Both small bear and das musikding are excellent on customer service.

Ping them an email and they should be able to give you any info you need.

well, if you do replace those Symetrix knobs, let me know and i'll take the old ones off your hands. i've got a cl150 that's missing a couple knobs.

cheers,
