what's your favorite stereo-spreader OR technique for this?

hi there,
i notice that putting the wavelab stereospreader on guitars gives a nice result, of course have to watch out for mono compability,

i wonder, you guys know other software that does a stereo spread?
or maybe some rocking hardware?

i know u can just mess with phase and stuff, i read articles about it and gonna invest some time in trying it all myself,
but in the main time it can be supereasy to just use a machine or plugin that does the job for me

but i don't know where to look for it...

If youy are talking about a mono track, I use a dual pitch shifter. I set it for 10 cents up on one side and 10 cents down on the other with the pre-delay at 18ms on the high one and 28ms on the low one. Pan the original track up the center.

If you are talking about two different guitar performances, I just pan them. How much more stereo can you get?

I have a couple of analog delays I like sometimes for making an electric guitar VERY stereo. I pan the dry guitar extreme one way, wihook up the delay on an aux send and bring it back panned hard the opposite way. The longer the delay is set, the farther to one side the guitar sounds.

i've been haveing fun with a stereo (kinda short) delay, same delay on both sides, but 180 phaze flip on one of them. o'cource it just dissapears in mono.

i love the beeing pulled sound of something completely out of phaze with itselfe (when hard panned)
