A stereo mic preamplifier might be like the DUAL ART mic preamp which has two separate sections to handle two mics. But, I've not yet seen a unit titled a Stereo mic pre. Stereo, remember, equates to the left ear and the right ear as set forth by another post. Rode makes a stereo microphone but stereo mics have been around a long time. Green Hornet

darrin_h2000 Banned Mar 13, 2002 #3 The conversation must have been on the subject of 2 channel mic pres, which come in handy for double tracking. I like to use am57 close to an amp off center of the speaker. and then distance mic it with a LD condencer.
