I have to admit I did come on here to ask if my singing voice was any good or not. But I came for an honest opinion, I don't really like singing in front of people so I came on here. I honestly didn't know, sometimes I liked my voice, sometimes I thought I sounded annoying as can be. So you gotta understand some people aren't just fishing for compliments. Of course there will be some people who are clearly very talented and are looking for compliments, but there are other people who really want genuine constructive criticism! :)

Define "good" - some of the most famous "singers" in the pop/rock world have godawful voices...

What were you going to do if everyone said "No, no, no AMK... please stop!! Save our ears!!"? Give up? :D

Bob Dylan would get laughed off of today's TV "singing" competitions. Singing is overrated.

Yes! Not "give up" I mean, I'd still sing to myself but I wouldn't bother considering voice lessons or anything! :)

But if everyone didn't like your voice, but you thought it might be OK, that might be the very reason voice lessons could be a good thing.
I don't have a problem with the odd "do you think my voice is any good ?" query. But when 24 out of 30 are that, well, "fur fox ache"......

I love these exchanges:

OP - "Do I have a good voice? What can I do to improve?"

Reploy - "No you don't have a good voice. I don't think there's anything you can do."

OP - "You're such an asshole! Does anybody else have an opinion?
