What's the 'N' in "N-tracks" stand for anyway?

In mathematics and physics, "N" (or "n") is often used to symbol "any (positive) integer". So, N-Track Studio means smoething like "a studio with as many tracks as you wish (or your computer allows)".

Something like that.

You know... the disease... you put it in envelopes if you fancy wearing towls round your head.

You are all wrong.

N tracks are the things little model trains- the ones smaller than HO gauge- run on.
