Whats the differance

One is black and one is green. I'll leave it to you to figure out which one is which :D

p.s. keep your eyes peeled for the ever elusive V67p

I figured out that much

Is there any real differance though?

SLC huh? How are things things up there? I used to live in Payson. I miss the scenery, but not the housing costs.

Thanks. I had seen them on Ebay before, and was wondering. Apparently there was an V67M too that sold for 95 bucks

The V67m is the "Mars" version. Clever eh?

Salt Lake is beautiful right now, all the leaves are gold, red, and dusky green. The mountains have a light sprinkle of snow on the peaks. The temperature has been in lower 70's. Perfect motorcycle riding weather. I wish it were eternally fall. I was down (over?) in Payson just last weekend. I rode my motorcycle up to the old boy scout camp, it was fantastic.

I got my house 5 years ago when the real estate market was very depressed, so I got a smoking deal. Now that prices have been rising in anticipation of the Olympics, I'm getting very tempted to sell. There is a Frank Lloyd Wright for a really good deal in between Kamas and Park City that I've had my eye on.

Hmm...I wonder if the mars version is cheaper made...It seems to be cheaper retail by far.

My favorite time in Utah was the spring, before the mountains turned brown. I'm not much on snow(I'm from and back to Texas).

I left there in 1994 and the houseing costs then, except for Magna(and we know why that is) were outrageous(compared to here anyway)...I hate to think what they are now. The house I rented in Payson for 900 bucks a month would have been condemed here, and if it hadnt, it would have rented for about 300 a month. And we had to compete with about 20 other people to get it.

I used to really dig riding my motorcycle up there, except those irrigation ditches in the residential areas always really creeped me out. That and the margerine being a differant shape. I could see running off the road into one of those. But the people were great, and the crime rate was low. Payson was a wierd little town. There was a kick ass chinese place right in the middle of it, within walking distance of my house. The Owners didnt speak english well, and the waitress was a BYU student who couldnt pronounce the stuff on the menu. I'll never forget her bringing me my "Saskatuwan shreded pork" and "Mogoloid Beef"

I got up there when Novell bought out word perfect and started laying people off. There were no computer jobs to found, so I wound up working for PC inovations for next to nothing. Hard times.....

Just got an email from MXL.

The M version is wired with Mogami cable, I think the G version sounds
better because of the nature of the grill. You need to decide that for
yourself.

Yes and no.

I think it was Harvey who mentioned that all the MXL V67 permutations are wired with Mogami. So in essence all of the V67 types are "M's."

Saskatchewan Shredded Pork! It sounds like a bad band name.

Yeah, kinda figured, but thats what the cat from MXL sent.

Mars here has the V67M for 149 bucks, so I was thinking of getting one. Cant have too many microphones.

If you are ever in Payson try that place out(if its still there. It was the best Chinese I found while I lived there. I believe it was on Main, just south of HWY 6, but I don't remeber. I lived on 3rd east, north of Hwy 6, and I could walk to it.

Oh, another fun thing I found was trying to explain to the waitress at a mexican resturant in provo what queso was, "oh, you mean that that runny cheese?"

It was, however, refreshing to discover that the late night crowd at Dennys is the same anywhere you go. I tought them the creamer game, and they worshiped at my feet......oh well, they were pretty impressed anyway. I can now say I have been kicked out of dennys in Texas, Hawaii, and Utah(plus a truck stop in Utah that figured out they were losing money on creamer).
