Actually I have more questions than just about the bass....
I just got a new inexpensive preamp that I ordered on line. I've heard people say that they can be used to add warmth to a Pod. I own a Line 6 bass pod and normally run a compressor (DOD R-825 Rack mount type) into the pod then to a mixer then the sound card.
1. How do I add the new tube amp to the chain? Please be specific about the out from and the into's I don't want to burn up any of my eqpt
I've been using the "balanced" output (of the compressor) but it also has an "unbalanced" output I then run into the Pod input.
2. What chords would be best for this application, TRS, regular guitar type chords, patch chords etc? I've been using a stereo cable lol I need more chords
I also own a Line 6 AX2 212 Guitar amp...Again, I run it into the stereo input of my mixer and then to the soundcard.
3. How would I use the tube amp with my AX2 212 and mixer? And yet again what type of chords would be best?
I know these are probably basic questions but the tube preamp is a different application for me so go easy on me
Here are some pics of the eqpt. I mentioned to give you more detail to what I am working with.
