Creamy: Thanks for the explanation and I will get stands and always doing reading, hehe.

Beats: I think I will follow the words of gecko and the others. I want to get going doing some recording first before I invest too much money into somethign I am clueless about. Yes, I know my stuff is very low end but it will give me an idea on what I need to upgrade when I start dabbling.

Thanks for the offer man, but I would not want to ever borrow someone elses gear. I would just feel too funny about doing it. Plus I am not there yet, as you can see I am a noob just starting out and getting some monitors next. But you are right, from cincy and not that bad

As far as the Johnson I have the JM60 . LOVE the amp but have only played out live with it, so have no idea about its recording potential, but I know its got a lot of cool digital presets, etc.

and yes Beats, on my way, but after seeing so many people's studios and gear it gets discouraging at times to know even when I am ALL set up, I will not hold a candle in the wind to 95% of the people on this forum for recording setups.
