Hey everyone, go easy on this guy.
We did give him a polite flaming before. So unless you've heard the first mix you wont apreciate the improvement here. So im going to be very honest and polite again.
song - Littlest Red
From what Im hearing there is nothing that I can say is worse than before. The drums are much better. The bass is up more in the bits where its on its own. But still a bit lost when the band comes in. You need to mix in a cleaner thumpier bass when the bands all in. With the guitars, roll off the low end. Cut fron about 200Hz down. and boost a tiny bit of 800Hz. Might help. Keep boosting the drums at about 100Hz until when you put your finger on your monitor cones there's more kick thuding your finger than guitar. The 200k down cut on the guitar will help this anyway. give the whole mix a shelf boost from about 6k up to 12k.
I hope this helps. The other guy's might have better sugestions but unless Im in front of your recording equipment, I can say any more. You've made it sound this much better, so keep going.
