Sorry people, for all of you who think that this one belongs in the "Dragon Cave", to be honest it does, but a filter on this side does not allow to open up this forum, so I will post it among us guitar-and of course bass-players here.

What kind of things would you love to see here discussed?

Why do we come here? What do you do when you are here, just reading or.....?

What is it you find here that you cannot find anywhere else?

Are you only coming here to relax, or would you like to be informed from time to time as well? Well of course it has to be some kind of mixture of entertainment and info I guess. This is, among us musicians, a not entirely strange idea[ when you perform you need to entertain, but at the same time you would like to do that in an interesting way~ and with good music to back you up~ which makes you stand out as an individual]

So all in a nutshell, this is no poll, more a general feedback discussion about what we could do here......See what ya all think.

So why do I visit this site? Well I like it, because I enjoy reading about the different approaches people have to similar things I do such as recording, playing and......Also it may be, because most of us here do something with music, that there is some kind of bonding going on. You know, you do not need to know much about each other, because in some ways we all go though similar experieces. And I have to mention another one: Cultural aspects, most of you folks seem to be natives of the USA, and I have been [and still are to this day] facinated by anything American, so some of the cliches the "outside" world knows about America I see here confirmed. By coming here you get a feel for how people approach things, how they deal with issues ect. All of this is very real, as there is no censorship going on[ hence these silly filters on this side~use of bad language I guess~]. So all of this I do enjoy and I am sure I am not the only one in this respect.

n.b.: May be a little bit biased with my love for "All Things American" as I am a Dutchman living in the UK and both the Netherlands and the UK are pro American in their approach-and politics.

Catch ya

Eddie :)
