What uses more electricity, Solid State, or Tube amp?

Soooo....we use tube stuff in the winter...solid state in the summer....right? Spring and fall will be mixed bags as we transition from one to the other. What about Carbon emissions...I think reverb may cause too much of that, flanging emits S02, and delays cause ozone....what are we to do

I don't know about where you are, but we're still using tubes out here in Oregon...it was 30 degrees when I woke up this a.m.! We hope to be switching to solid state shortly.

i use energy saving bulbs in stead of tubes.

works great, cool sound!!!
