I'm not a huge fan of electronic music but sometimes I'll practice with this type of music instead of a click track b/c it has a tight "four on the floor" and interesting syncopation.

Then I saw this video above and I'd really like to know who the artist is that they are playing along to. Better yet who does the remix? Anyone know?

Thanks guys. I really dig the idea of putting live drums back in the mix with electronic music.

It really opens up ideas when woodshedding to these types of songs as opposed to just a click. I love the interplay with accents on the syncopated parts of the beats.

I have Winamp on my computer, so sometimes I'll just call up an internet radio station in different genres and play along to songs I've never heard before. Really opens up the creativity and improves timing.

I especially dig stuff like what Jojo Mayer is doing with Nerve.
