Hey Trump, thanx a lot man. That means a lot to me.It is absolutely awesome Rami. The best part of all of your songs to me is how great the bass guitar, kick and snare work together. It's probably the arrangement more than anything, but I love that punch that you get from all of your songs. I love the sound of that snare. Awesome tune.
Seems like I have heard this before a long time ago. Is this a remake of a tune you have?
Maybe they're all starting to sound the same.![]()
Ah I see. Well, then your memory's pretty good. I think I once used "Lucy in the Sky" in my lyrics. Pretty close. The "Strawberry fields" was the part that made me think it was another song..
Thanx Ray. I try to exploit anything I can if it means getting a song finished.Psychedelicious fresh from the psychedelicatessen.
Chuck's farm needed this.
This mix is terrific & NO it's not 80's at all.
IF it were released in the 60's it might be termed "exploitation" in terms of the linking of psycho & psychedelic.
Mind you I LOVE expolitation films & music for their ultra low budget appeal.
This song, performance and production do NOT sound low budget or Lo Fi in any way whatso ever.
VERY enjoyable.
Thanx Nak. Nah, there's no phasing on the hats. In the intro, I'm just playing them wide open and really hard.
Thin snare is a matter of taste, I guess. I love my snare sound, but that's a personal taste thing.![]()
the snare is wee bit thin.
Hehe.....you guys.....Nah, I love my snare sound, as thin and round as it is.snare........EQ it a bit to not sound as round
Depends on the tune. I think I came up with the main riff and then the rest of the tune, and got the music recorded within a day or 2. Then, it took me a while to write the lyrics. But all in all, I guess about 4-7 days on most tunes.I'm curious... How long does it usually take you to come up with these tunes, and get em' recorded?
Rami, your stuff is always a cut above. This is right up my alley. Love the gang vocals on the chorus. Real tight.
Hey guys. I don't know how I skipped right past these two posts. Sorry about that.Hi
Great stuff Rami. Always enjoys the work of a fellow Montrealer!
You're the best!

Thanx a lot Joey. Putting me in the same sentence as Alice Cooper is a major compliment to me because I grew up listening to NOTHING but Alice from the time I was 11 to the time I was 18.What the Hell is this?? Another fine Rami classic, that's what it is!
Expertly arranged, composed, executed, the lot....those harmonies: yummy!
Reminded me of vintage Alice Cooper in a very good way.
Thanx man. I like it too.And your snare drum gives me hard-ons anyway.....![]()
Thanx brothah!what the hell is it?
its good thats what it is
(ah nice to be home and listening to folks music again)
