I really like the PSP vintage warmer on guitar and Bass tracks. (You need VST wrapper for this)
The bombfactory Compressors are very cool also along with the Sans-Amp plug. But they are WAY expensive. They do have a 10 day demo download.
If you haven't heard Altiverb yet, I highly recommend you get the demo and try it.
