bye with nuendo 3 hello samplitude 8

yeah ill miss neundo's flexibility and editing and laman terms everything, but for dat same price i get the same crap, with cd/dvd burning, the best stock plugins, and still have enuff money to get edl convert. Ha! and the sound engine is night and day over the others.

sound forge 7 (2 bus, editing)
Vegas 4 (multitracking)
I dont need anything to deal with midi.

Sonar 4LE (soon to be upgraded to 5PE) for lineair sequencing and audio recording. Orion Platinum for pattern-based stuff.

cool Edit/Audition... I've been using it since 1.2a! I swear by it. Beats the hell out of ProTools for ease of use. I'm also the most comfortable with it. I have cubase SX1.? too. It has it's pro's (better fx's) but I'm a firm believer that you shouldn't have to fix too much in the mix. Most of the stuff I record only gets small amount of EQ and some reverb during mixing.

I HATE ProTools too...(I'm sure I'm not alone)

Bump again... It looks like another thread was started again.

I use Sonar for primarily audio multitracking. I know I probably could have gotten away cheaper for just audio, but it's what I was comfortable with.

Sonar Home Studio is $99 and gets the job done for me. It gives u 64 tracks which Im sure is more than enough

I use Protools LE 7 for tracking and mixing in my Notebook with an MBox (soon will be an MBox 2); in my desktop PC I use Protools LE 6.1.1 with Audiomedia III (I'm Protools user since version 3).

For 2 tracks editing Wavelab 4 and for mastering I'm learning Samplitude. Also I want to start using Nuendo due a lot of studios are using it and my students too... :D

I use Guitar Tracks Pro 3 and Wavelab 4. I use them about once a year. Best investment ever! Nah....I'll be back my babies

Windows Sound Recorder for recording, mixing, and mastering.

I've had Sonar 6 for about a week now. Still playing with it, but the thing that sold me was Audio Snap. FInally, it's got a beat detective!

i'm use pro tools but i am understanding y everbody say it is a head ache
