What offers contrast -- biggest difference?

about to add my first couple of mic addtions, since the only ones I have are a couple of Oktava MK-012's and a MXL V67.
If you were to add something in a LD in the under $300 range
what offers some real contrast with the V67?
Use it for vocals and Acoustic guitar.

Hmm, one mic for both acousitc gtr and vox, and different than the V67... hmm, I think you should wait until you have more money and then audition something like the Shure KSM44.

Maybe a Shure ksm-27 or an Audio Technica 4040. Either of those will probably have a much clearer and present sound to them than the v67, in all likelihood.

O.K. Looking for maybe a vienna, or a KSM 27 but bid on a AT 4040 and got if for $150 guy says it's 8 months old, had great feedback.
Did I do good?
