Unfortunately there are a zillion mixers that are not a jillion dollars.
What is the price range you are looking for ?

Below $100
Below $300
Below $500
Below $700
Below $1,000
Below $10,000

Below $100 you have the Yamaha MG 10/2 which I own and it's pretty nice.
There is also the Behringer brand they have the UB502, UB802, and another one I think its the UB1002 for less than $100.

Below $300 there are couple of Mackies and Yamahas that you cannot go wrong. Alesis makes one or two (with a lot more feature than either Yamaha or Mackie) but the pre-amps are a little noiser than either Yamaha or Mackie.

Below $500 there are a few Mackies, Yamahas, Behringer some Soundcraft and Alesis. Again, I would probably stick to either Mackie or Yamah at this point in the game.

Below $1,000 you have Mackie, Yamaha, Soundcraft, Alesis, Behringer, and Allen & Heath. I would probably go with an Allen & Heath if given the choice but what do I know.

I don't think I helped you out any but at least you have a couple of names you can go and look at.
