What do you guys think makes a good album art? What makes it memorable? Why are they memorable? What are some of your favorite album arts? Why are they your favorite?

Radioheads "Hail to the thief" has one of the sweetest album art I've seen.

The cover has to match the music. Indie rock will have a different cover than country, diva pop will have a different cover than raw punk...ultimately though, do whatever YOU want.

Dont let yourself be confined by your genre.

I myself hate band photos as covers, I think its unoriginal and most of us musicians are ugly anyways (thats the reason we became musicians in the first place right)
