right now i own the Sony vaio PCV-RS422 and i need a monitor should i get two monitors or one flat screen or CRT.... how is it helpful to have 2?

You can probably just get away with one. I know thats what I'll be using when i puschase my computer. Although if you are going to use 2 monitors make sure you have a graphics card that will support it. I guess if you are going to be extremly serious, full blown studio, you may want to have 2..Just stay away from LCD

i have 2 crt 17in screens. definitely nice when it comes to using sonar so i have a mixer view and a track view

i would buy minimum an 17 `` TFT or 2

did buy last month an 19`` CRT from NEC / Mitsibushi but only for grafik / design works.

is to big and with an tft i would have more space here and my eyes don´t get tired with an tft. It´s the better choice if you have the extra money. if not, you could buy the second later.

fernandoesmaron....hows the Wharfs 8.2a, now that you've had them a while?
not to interrupt the thread, just curious. I think I've decided on them.
Some worry over the blown tweeters, but the YSM1P's have a rattling amp board so...for the price the Wharfs are 50%! leaves some more fun money!

I have a 20" DELL it's nice, have been checking out recording software seems to all fit. Garage sale $50....i hear you can find them for $90....it's a big boy, al lot of table space.
